Family Bibles

Information from the following Family Bibles are on file in the Kellenberger Room. Some were collected by the Craven County Genealogical Society in October 2002 and October 2003, others have been added since that time from various sources. The year of publication of the Bible follows the name of the Bible in parenthesis, like this (1811). In cases with more than one date, there is more than one Bible with that family name.

Many of the Family Bibles below have been added to our ContentDM site, where you may view copies of the originals as well as transcriptions (below the images). A view organized a slightly different way is located here. Direct links to the Bibles have been added. If a Bible is listed without a link, the records have not been added to the online project, but are available in the Kellenberger Room.
